British Romanticism, 18th Century Literature, Science and Literature, Aesthetics, Queer Theory, Marxist Theory, and Modernism. Third Stage. Fuson Wang is currently finishing his dissertation, "Romanticism, Radicalism, and Inoculation." He studies Romantic-era medicine, focusing specifically on the literary, political, and philosophical implications of Edward Jenner's radical late eighteenth-century proposal for cross-species vaccination. His work on Mary Shelley, Charlotte Smith, Charles Dickens, medical humanities, biopolitics, and Romantic cosmopolitanism has appeared in European Romantic Review, Women's Studies, Nineteenth-Century Contexts, and Eighteenth-Century Fiction. |
