Our select PhD program accepts 12-14 new students each year. We offer a diverse and academically rigorous course of study, often combined with significant teaching experience. This combination has helped our students garner tenure-track jobs in spite of the challenges posed by a diminishing number of full-time positions. We offer assistance and advising at every stage of the graduate program. We hope that you will browse our website, visit UCLA, and consider applying to our fine program.
