REQUIREMENTS

· one class presentation-discussion
	No monologues longer than 15 minutes; discussion of a topic does not 
	have a time limit.
	1. Introduce very, very briefly some of the broad ideas that you find
	relevant and important to the text/critic/author.	
	2. FOCUS narrowly on one passage and analyze in detail.  Close read.
	3. Leave us with some mind-opening questions and provocative ideas.

· 18-25pp original research paper, due 12/15.
