Examinations and Other Writing Assignments

 

HOUSE RULES

 

Your final grade will be determined by our assessment of your performance on the following exercises:

 

Discussion Sections Mid-term examination Term paper Final examination

Both the midterm and the final examinations will be short answer and essay in format; the final examination will be cumulative. In both examinations you will have some option regarding the novels and the topics on which your write.

 

A term paper (900-1200 words) written on a topic selected by you from a list that will be handled out early in term is due either on July 24th (if you wish the paper returned with comments) or on August 1st (if you don't care to have the paper returned to you).  

 

If you are uncertain as to what constitutes plagiarism in written work, then by all means bring your questions to me before you fall into error.
