Dept. of English major and minor students are encouraged to explore study abroad options.

Students wishing to complete a UCLA English-designed curriculum may register for one of our Summer Travel Study programs, led by Dept. of English faculty members. These programs confer credit for two upper-division English courses and can be taken by students in any major across campus.

Students wishing to spend a full summer, full quarter/semester, or full year abroad are encouraged to consult with UCLA’s International Education Office about UCEAP (University of California Education Abroad Program. Once a program/destination has been chosen, Dept. of English students are encouraged to meet with an English undergraduate advisor to discuss possibilities for major/minor credit.
