Poetry Reading Featuring Randy James

Text/Tech, the English media lab, is pleased to announce the first of a series of visiting writers one-day workshops and readings. Our first visitor is LA poet and UCLA graduate Randy James.

Join us for a poetry reading featuring Randy James, who will read from his chapbook, Shifters, and additional published pieces.

Randy Markel James (UCLA ’18) received an MFA in Writing from the University of San Francisco. James is an educator, editor, teacher and performer from Los Angeles, California. Some of his work has been published in Red Cedar Review, Palette, The Rumpus, Hooligan Mag, Denver Quarterly, &Change, and Essential Truths: The Bay Area in Color. His chapbook, Shifters, originally published by Nomadic Press, is now available via Black Lawrence Press.
