To Apply: Please submit up to 3 poems and a short statement answering the question “Why I write” by May 18 to medialab@english.ucla.edu
Following this workshop, Stacie will give a reading at 5pm in the Text/Tech Lab. All are invited!
Stacie Cassarino’s recent collection, Each Luminous Thing (Persea Books, 2023) won the Lexi Rudnitsky Editor’s Choice Award, and was recommended by The New York Times Book Review and The Washington Post Book Club. She is the author of Zero at the Bone (New Issues Press, 2009), which received a Lambda Literary Award and the Publishing Triangle Audre Lorde Award, and a scholarly monograph, Culinary Poetics and Edible Images in Twentieth-Century American Literature (OSU Press, 2018). She teaches at Smith College.
