Harold Dee Fox Memorial Scholarship Application

The Harold Dee Fox Memorial Scholarship Endowment in the Department of English was established to honor and memorialize Harold Dee Fox and his intense love for English literature. Mr. Fox received his bachelor’s degree in English from UCLA in 1956. The purpose of the scholarship is “to enrich the intellectual environment of the campus and community" by enabling "outstanding undergraduate students…to attain a dream of achieving a bachelor’s degree.” To be eligible, the applicant must be a declared major in the Department of English and possess a UCLA GPA of 3.7 or higher. Preference will be given to a Los Angeles Community College District transfer student who is receiving financial aid. U.S. citizens who are California residents will also be given preference.
