Alum Kristina Wong Awarded 2023 Guggenheim Fellowship

Congratulations to undergraduate alum Kristina Wong who was awarded a 2023 Guggenheim Fellowship!

Created in 1925 by Simon and Olga Guggenheim in memory of their son John Simon Guggenheim, the foundation has offered fellowships to exceptional individuals in pursuit of scholarship in any field of knowledge and creation in any art form, under the freest possible conditions. Wong is a performance artist, comedian, writer and elected representative who has been presented internationally across North America, the UK, Hong Kong and Africa. Wong is currently a Doris Duke Artist and in 2022 was selected as a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Drama for her performance art piece, Kristina Wong, Sweatshop Overlord.
