Please see the recent blog post by Denise Cruz on the MLA Commons site for the Committee on the Literatures of People of Color in the United States and Canada.  The post offers a moving testimonial to the groundbreaking work by our colleague King-Kok Cheung, together with Stan Yogi and Brian Niiya, in Asian American Literature: An Annotated Bibliography (MLA, 1988). Cruz’s narrative captures the volume’s touchstone status, with “its early anticipation of some of the key features of Asian Americanist scholarship over the course of the last three decades” and “its testament to scholarly collaboration and persistence.”
