Part of Palgrave Macmillan’s Literatures, Cultures, and the Environment (LCE) book series, this new work co-edited by UCLA English and IOES professor Urusla Heise (with Chi P. Pham), demonstrates the complex history of national stewardship and ecological management in Vietnam. It seeks to build a knowledge on ecological crises and environmental cultures of South East Asia, and contributes interdisciplinary research from anthropologists, art historians, and scholars of language and literature.
