Contributed book chapters to Microphone Fiends: Youth Music and Youth Culture (Routledge, 1994) and The Seductions of Biography (Routledge, 1996). Articles have appeared in American Quarterly, Cultural Critique, New Literary History, Social Text, Transition, and other journals.
