Xuan Juliana Wang is the author of the short story collection Home Remedies, which received the California Book Award for First Fiction and was a New York Public Library Young Lions and PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize finalist. Her short fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Ploughshares, The New York Times, New York Magazine, and Aperture, among other publications. Her work has been included in The Best American Nonrequired Reading and the Pushcart Prize Anthology.She was a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University and received her MFA from Columbia University. She is the recipient of grants from The New York Foundation for the Arts, the Jerome Foundation, and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, as well as residencies from Cité Internationale des Arts, MacDowell, and Yaddo.
